FYI 日本で米国の知財裁判を体験するには（メモ）

通常模擬裁判などを聴講するのが一般的だと思いますが、非常に簡単な方法として
東京地方裁判所による日米知的財産模擬裁判のDVDを借用する手があります。
平成15年12月16日に東京地方裁判所において，日米知的財産権に関するシンポジウムの一環として，模擬裁判が開催され，この模様を録画したDVD（日本側裁判，米国側裁判の２枚組）を無料で借用することができます。
私も一昨年借用して見ました。

さらに、もっと簡単な方法としてCAFCのoral argumentsのオーディオ（映像はありません）を聞くという手があります。これは最新のケースを含め多数のケースを聞くことができます。Scriptsが無い上に録音状態はあまりよくなく、かなりのヒヤリング能力がないと苦しいですがすばらしい教材だと思います。

The Court is now posting digital recordings of oral arguments on the Court's Internet site at oralarguments.cafc.uscourts.gov. Counsel should exercise caution in discussing at oral argument sensitive personal data, such as personal identifying numbers, medical records, employment history, individual financial information, proprietary or trade secret information, information regarding an individual's cooperation with the government, information regarding the victim of any criminal activity, national security information, and sensitive security information as described in 49 U.S.C. § 114. Counsel are urged not to discuss at oral argument any sensitive information they do not wish posted on the Internet.
